Logistics dispatcher / coordinator

Conteneurs Experts, located in Vaudreuil-Dorion, operates in the field of rental, sale and conversion of maritime containers.

We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator / Dispatcher to join our dynamic team.

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week, daytime).

We're looking for an organized, proactive and solution-oriented individual who enjoys a challenge and working in a dynamic environment.

Role and responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping container deliveries with customers, vendors and transportation providers

• Produce purchase orders

• Enter shipments and receipts into our ERP system

• Work closely with the forklift operator to ship and receive containers

• Prepare, track and verify purchase orders and transportation costs

• Ensure the necessary follow-up with customers

Profile required

• Logistics training or equivalent relevant experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-reliance, resourcefulness and team spirit
• Excellent sense of organization, planning and urgency
• Good command of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Knowledge of an ERP system (an asset)
• Bilingualism required (French and English - spoken and written)
